FAQs

  • WHAT IS LAGREE AND WHAT IS THE MEGAFORMER

Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity workout method designed to build strength, muscular endurance, stability, and core control through slow, controlled movement and continuous time under tension.

Classes are performed on a Megaformer, a specialized resistance-based machine that uses a moving carriage, springs, straps, and multiple platforms to create hundreds of exercise variations. The machine allows you to work your entire body with constant resistance while keeping the workout low-impact on the joints.

Unlike traditional strength training, Lagree focuses on moving slowly and staying under tension for longer periods of time, which creates the signature “shake” and deep muscle fatigue the method is known for.

Think strength training, core work, and endurance — all in one full-body workout on the Megaformer.

  • WHICH CLASS SHOULD I TAKE FIRST

If you are brand new to Lagree and want a little extra time to learn the Megaformer, Mega Foundations is a great place to start.

You do not have to take Foundations first. You are also welcome to begin with Mega Burn or Scupt Fusion (not on the machines).

If it is your first Megaformer class, please arrive 10 minutes early so your instructor can introduce you to the machine and review the basics before class begins.

  • DO I HAVE TO TAKE MEGA FOUNDATIONS BEFORE MEGA BURN

No. Mega Foundations is not required before taking Mega Burn.

Mega Foundations is a slower-paced class with extra guidance on Megaformer setup, form, transitions, and foundational Lagree movements. It is ideal for first-timers, anyone who feels a little nervous about starting Lagree, or anyone who wants additional time to refine technique.

If Foundations does not fit your schedule, you are still welcome to start with Mega Burn.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR

Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely.

For Megaformer classes, grip socks are required. If you do not have a pair, they will be available for purchase in the studio.

For heated classes, we recommend breathable workout clothing and bringing water.

  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING

Bring water and anything you personally need for class.

Grip socks are required for Megaformer classes. Mats are needed for the Mega Strength and Sweat and Sculpt Fusion classes. Studio equipment will be provided unless otherwise noted.

  • WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE

For your first Megaformer class, please arrive 10 minutes early so your instructor can introduce you to the Megaformer and help you get set up.

For returning clients, we recommend arriving a few minutes early so you have time to check in and get settled before class begins.

  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE CLASS

For most clients, 3–6 classes per week can work well depending on your goals, experience, and how you feel between sessions.

Because Élevé offers a mix of Megaformer strength, heated sculpt, cardio, and hybrid classes, you can vary your week and workout styles.

We recommend listening to your body, allowing enough recovery between higher-intensity sessions, and mixing class formats throughout the week.

  • I HAVE NOT WORKED OUT IN AWHILE, CAN I STILL COME

    Yes.

You do not need to be consistently working out before starting. Our classes are designed so instructors can provide modifications and help you work at an appropriate level.

If you are nervous about starting, Mega Foundations is a great option

  • WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY

Please let your instructor know about any injuries, limitations, or recent procedures before class begins.

Many movements can be modified, but not every class or exercise is appropriate for every injury. If you are unsure whether you should participate, consult your healthcare provider before class.

  • CAN I TAKE CLASS IF I'M PREGNANT

Pregnancy can look very different from person to person, so we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before beginning or continuing classes.

Please let your instructor know you are pregnant before class so appropriate modifications can be offered. Depending on your stage of pregnancy, experience level, and individual needs, certain movements may need to be adjusted or avoided

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE THAT CAN TAKE A CLASS?

Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required waivers and consents.

You may want to insert your final studio minimum age here once you decide it, for example: Clients must be at least 14 years old to participate.

  • WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

Élevé Movement has an 8-hour cancellation window.

Reservations canceled at least 8 hours before class may be canceled without penalty.

Cancellations made within 8 hours of class are considered late cancellations and incur a $15 late-cancellation fee.

If you reserve a class and do not attend without canceling before class begins, the reservation is considered a no-show.

    No-shows incur a $25 no-show fee.

Any class credit used for the reservation will be returned to the client’s account.

  • HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist.

If a space becomes available more than 8 hours before class, you may be automatically moved from the waitlist into class. You will receive an email, text, and/or app notification depending on the notifications enabled on your account.

Once you are moved into class, the standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.

Automatic waitlist movement may stop once the 8-hour cancellation window begins. After that point, newly available spots may be booked on a first-come, first-served basis through the Élevé app or website.

If you are no longer able to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist before you are added to class.

If you get into a class from the waitlist - you will receive an email, text, and/or app notification if you are moved from the waitlist into class.

Please make sure your notifications are enabled in your account so you do not miss an update.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER

If Élevé Movement needs to cancel a class due to severe weather or unsafe conditions, affected clients will be notified and any applicable class credit will be returned.
